MM2H Silver Tier — Requirements & Conditions
GOVERNMENT PARTICIPATION FEE : RM 1,000.00 (One-Off)
GOVERNMENT REGULATED AGENCY FEE : RM 40,000.00 (One-Off)
VISA TERM : 5 Year Visa Renewable
MINIMUM STAY PER YEAR : Accumulated stay by either the main applicant or the dependents (NON APPLICABLE to Main Applicant age 50 and Above)
FIXED DEPOSIT : USD 150,000.00
50% FIXED DEPOSIT WITDHRAWAL : Maximum 50% of Fixed Deposit amount.
REASON OF WITDHRAWAL :
1. Purchase of Property (Property purchased within 2 years prior to MM2H pass endorsement date or purchased after the visa endorsement are eligible)
2. Children education in Malaysia (Children holding Student Pass under MM2H Visa)
3. Medical Expenses and Treatment in Malaysia
4. Tourism Expenses in Malaysia
MINIMUM PROPERTY PRICE :
- RM 600,000.00 (within West Malaysia)
- Property price is subject to the state land acquisition policy
PROPERTY PURCHASE :
- Applicant are allowed to purchase a Property within 1 year from visa endorsement date
- The property is NOT ALLOWED for sale within 10 years, unless upgrading to a higher price property or termination from MM2H program
- Property purchased before the date of visa endorsement is qualified
- Property purchased within 2 years prior to MM2H pass endorsement date or purchased after the visa endorsement are eligible for 50% fixed deposit withdrawal

50% FIXED DEPOSIT WITDHRAWAL : Maximum 50% of Fixed Deposit amount.

1. Purchase of Property (Property purchased within 6 months before visa endorsement are eligible)
2. Children education in Malaysia (Children holding Student Pass under MM2H Visa)

- ONLY property from Forest City is qualified
- This property MUST be purchased directly from the property developer
- Property price is subject to the state land acquisition policy

- The property is NOT ALLOWED for sale within 10 years, unless upgrading to a higher price property or termination from MM2H program
- MM2H Visa will be granted after a property has been purchased – Visa process MUST be completed within 3 months
- Property purchased within 6 months before visa endorsement date are eligible for 50% fixed deposit withdrawal

50% FIXED DEPOSIT WITDHRAWAL : Maximum 50% of Fixed Deposit amount.
REASON OF WITDHRAWAL :
1. Purchase of Property (Property purchased within 6 months before visa endorsement are eligible)

What to Do After Your Application Is Approved
Medical Report
After approval, applicants and their dependents must provide a medical report from any registered clinic or private hospital in Malaysia.
Medical Insurance
Once the application is approved, all applicants and their dependents (spouse and children) are required to have valid medical insurance that is applicable in Malaysia. However, this requirement does not apply to applicants who are over 59 years old.
Restrictions
Participants of the Malaysia My Second Home Programme are prohibited from engaging in any form of employment while residing in Malaysia (except Platinum Tier). Furthermore, they must refrain from involvement in activities that may be deemed sensitive to local communities or pose a threat to national security.
