MM2H visa permit - Benefits & Incentives
Once your application is approved, you will be eligible for a range of benefits and incentives, as outlined below :
MM2H Visa Permit
Social Visit Pass with Multiple Entry available for 5, 10, 15, and 20 years, depending on the category
For applicants below the age of 50 (including dependents), a minimum stay of 90 days per year is required
No minimum stay requirement for applicants aged 50 and above
Pass is renewable every 5 years
Main applicant must be at least 21 years old
House Purchase
Each participant is required to purchase residential property valued between RM500,000 and RM2,000,000, subject to the regulations of each respective state. Please note that property ownership is a mandatory condition for obtaining the MM2H visa, and state-specific requirements may vary.

Once your MM2H Visa is approved, there are benefits and incentives you can enjoy:
You are allowed to employ one domestic helper from your country of origin or source countries. This is subject to the prevailing guidelines of the Immigration Department Malaysia
MM2H participants are allowed to bring their unmarried children up to 34 years old as their dependents.
MM2H Platinum Visa holders can 100% own a business without the requirement of any local Malaysians
Employment with a Malaysian company is not permitted unless you apply under the Platinum category, subject to specific terms and conditions. However, working remotely or overseas is allowed.
Tax exemption is granted on the remittance of offshore income, pension funds, and any other foreign funds transferred into Malaysia.
Free movement of funds in and out of Malaysia
No currency exchange controls
Tax-free import of personal and household items
Tax exemption on fixed deposit interest
Eligible to invest in local companies, stocks, and unit trusts
